More from the Department of Star Trek Actors in Other Roles: William Shatner guest-stars as short-tempered resident Dr. Carl Noyes in "The Encroachment," an episode of DR. KILDARE that originally aired on February 21, 1966, just a few months before the premiere of STAR TREK. This is the first installment of a five-episode arc that aired after DR. KILDARE had switched from a one-hour format with self-contained stories to a half-hour with multi-episode stories, so there may be more screencaps to post later.

I like that Shatner is wearing similar glasses to the ones Leonard Nimoy wore when he guest-starred a few years earlier.
