Nightwing and Huntress found themselves in the middle of a heated turf war between two rivaling gangs in Gotham. They dodge bullet fire like effortlessly while taking out each member one by one. "Another shoot out while the Bat is off on League business. You'd think these guys would know by now that there are other heroes in Gotham." The acrobat banters, as he vaults one of the bigger members into a large stack of crates.

"I—…what? no!"he looks at the girl with a raised eyebrow, why would she ask him something like that? it made no sense at all.              "I mean I care about you…              but…why are you asking?"

Damian was never easily scared. In fact, he was normally the one scaring others, or he tries to. But this time, being hit with the Scarcrow’s gas, was different. It brought up his nightmares, the one about his mother. He was shaking slight. He heard Helena’s words and looked up at her. Bruce was on a business trip and took Alfred with him. leaving him home alone. Well almost alone. 

"Tt. I don’t need you here…" He muttered and yet he still scooted over to her.

Paladin was unaware of his visitor, currently working on a large suit of mechanical armor, replacing several bullet-riddled panels with the replacement panels. He reached over, his vision limited by the welding mask over his face, to pick up a large device and tested it. As he triggered it, large frames of ballistic mesh sprung out, creating a large shield.

"Good. Still works." He simply said, voice slightly muffled due to the mask.
