The bitter sweetness of learning new things. Oh that's cool and interesting to know. But also like.....all the bad sides of the stories make me sad and angry.
#okay I watched a video about malaria#you're telling me the us foreign aid guy was like “naa let's not help Africa”#and then w. funded it well and helped a lot#for like $5000 a child you can save it's life#and then...certain other presidents were like “naa that's too expensive”#bruh?#I didn't even know malaria was treatable until now#with a few billion we could eradicate it#so like I'm happy to know it's treatable#and that so many people were saved#but then angry and sad that people can just say “no” and let a bunch of children die#you helped get rid of it in America and stuff and then just didn't help Africa?#are you kidding me#Mel rambles
