he can’t quite tell if he’s more annoyed from class---bombing a pop quiz because he’s more than a little preoccupied with the unexplained disappearances ravaging campus really does it for him, thank you very much---or from kevin still sleeping when he comes back. at nearly 3 o’clock. in the freaking afternoon.
so he’s shamelessly petty, dropping his backpack heavily on the ground as he moves around their dorm. as noisy as possible, because he wants the guy to be awake and suffering at normal hours of the day. like the rest of them.

it’s like he’s waiting for kevin outside. smoking a cigarette by the door where he’s leaning against the brick casually--- expectantly. ( despite it being the middle of the night. ) inhales right when kevin opens the door, but he doesn’t move from his spot. not yet. ❛ ----------- going somewhere? ❜ he speaks up then, voice deliberately casual, drawing the cigarette from his lips to blow the smoke kevin’s way. tapping off the ash against the wall, and looking smug about it, too.
