How annoying.
Upon being handed the crow, Masaharu can’t help the small bout of anger worming it’s way into his heart, eye slightly twitching at the current state of the crow in his hands.
It’s not, and the crow will be back up in a few weeks, but it still worries the caretaker to see the things in this condition. After all, they’ve raised the birds with their bare hands, so to see them hurt feels like a personal attack to them.
It was an accident, though, so there’s no need to direct my ire to him.
The phrase doesn’t help with his growing ire to the Hashira.
“He’ll be fine,” Masaharu’s quick to dismiss the other’s concerns, failing to hide the bite in his voice. “It’s just a broken wing- Nijimaru will be healed up in about four weeks.”
