happy fathers day to THEE daddy
Rainmaker giving me flashback Lana Parrilla being all nervous and uncertain holding a fussy baby who immediately calms for her, gee thanks for hitting me right in my Pavlov reactions! Yes, I am shipping her with the mother that I already know is going to die, why do you ask?
Some critics have complained that the leads are too green. Maybe they are. But TV used to be the place where actors became stars, not just where they parked after they already were.
Milo Callaghan’s Rudy and Madison Iseman’s Sarah are at the start of their arcs...and watching them grow alongside the story is part of the investment. Pairing them with heavy-hitters like John Slattery and Lana Parrilla isn’t a liability; it’s mentorship in real time.

I think we need a fandom term for when a show is supposed to get rid of Lana Parrilla's character by the end of the first season, but they change their minds and keep her.
Got around to watching episode 7 of The Rainmaker and I was pleased to see how focused it was on Bruiser. Finally an episode that wasn't completely boring 😂
