Brunt had a fairly average childhood on Ferenginar. He was educated mostly at home with traditional Ferengi values, bribed his way into an apprenticeship when he was of age, then climbed his way up the ladder of success. He’s fairly religious, good at his job, and unimpressed by members of his species who stray from the religious or cultural ideals he holds dear.
