i know he’s written to be a little pathetic but i wish more people saw shadowsight as being more of an “edgy” character. dude just sometimes reeks of late 2000s amvs whenever he talks about the “darkness consuming him”
#it’s been a while since I’ve touched a wc book but when i read about him he never struck me as the sad wet pathetic type I think he was#just treated that way by the narrative he’s actually really capable of doing a lot#part of the reason why he’s seen as “weak is likely because he’s been tricked most of his life and is trying to fit in with society#does this make sense#warrior cats#shadowsight#brush hush
