❛      personally -- i prefer large parties like this . you know ?    you can be in your        own head easily ----       ❜      a pause . thick lashes lower , dark eyes peering        at the thin bubbles in her champagne . they flicker to the surface --      pop !       ❛      ... small parties , everyone is so demanding . i don’t know . maybe it’s just me .        ❜
