AH AH AH AH #25 sparia pleeease
“we can never be together kiss”, sparia (FUCK!)
She stares at the tiny, petite, brunette, frowning and almost crying because it’s ending so quickly; it hasn’t even had a beginning, just an end. She stares at the petite brunette, fighting to keep her eyes clear of tears, but she’s losing. They burn with pain and hurt, but especially with desire and need. She dearly wants to be with Aria. She wants to continue this, see where it goes, but it can never happen. She can never be with her.
“Aria, I just... you know how my parents are...” her voice is raspy and frail, a chip away from crumbling.
Aria shakes her head, her hazel eyes hard and refusing to meet. “You... Spencer, it’s your life,” she scoffs, shaking her head at the woman next to her. “If you really wanted to be with me you wouldn’t care what your parents thought.”
“Aria, please,” she beckons, grabbing her lover’s hand. “They aren’t like your mom. I don’t have the same relationship that you do with your mom; with your parents. Maybe it would take your dad a little time to get used to, but...” Her throat is closing. A tear slides off of her cheek.
Spencer looks forward. “If...If they ever found out, they would shun me. They may be awful and that only further extends their horribleness, but they are my family.”
Aria laughs ruefully. “Family doesn’t treat you like that, Spencer. You shouldn’t put up with them.” She faces her, their eyes finally locking. “Spencer, if they don’t love and accept you for the amazing, brilliant person that you are, then why care for them? Don’t change yourself for them. Don’t become the person they want you to be. I know you want them to love you, but you don’t need them. So many people love you...” Aria professes. “Emily, Hanna, Jason, Alison, Caleb, Mona,” she lists.
She frowns, pausing in her list. Her hazel eyes hold such sadness, such misery. A tear drop falls from her. Spencer reminds herself not to brush it away. “I love you, Spencer,” Aria murmurs the soft, sad, sweet words.
“I love you too.” Spencer whispers, barely able to hold it together. A sob lodges in her throat, making each word hard to get out.
Aria’s eyes flutter down. She knows she made no difference with her speech. Pouring her heart out was useless. Spencer has her mind made up. There is no changing that. She should have known. Spencer is the most stubborn person she knows. When she has her mind set, there is no changing it.
Aria begins to cry, not able to hold it in anymore. Spencer wraps her hands around the girl, bringing her into her. Even with Spencer holding her together, she is breaking. She is crumbling, her pieces flying in every direction. She has been torn apart by the same person who is trying to keep her together.
“Aria,” Spencer tries after a minute or two. “Aria, I’m sorry. I really am.”
She looks up at her, frowning.
“It just has to be this way, Aria,” she whispers. “It hurts me so much. I love you so much,” she cups the smaller girl’s face in her hands. “This has to end.”
Aria nods, swallowing.
Spencer leans in, brushing her lips across Aria’s. Aria kisses back, grabbing on to the back of the other woman’s head. She deepens the kiss, pushing her tongue into Spencer’s mouth. Spencer’s lips taste like coconut and feel like heaven.
She puts everything into this kiss, giving everything she has to Spencer, trying to convince her to stay, but she should have known. There is no changing Spencer’s mind. After the kiss, Spencer goes on her own way.
