Wesley Wins in Louisiana
The Bryan Brothers burst onto the golfing scene with youtube videos showcasing their dazzling golf trick shots. Wesley and George Bryan quickly won over fans with their southern charm and uncanny ability to bounce a golf ball on a wedge then toss up where it was subsequently smashed by a waiting driver. What many people do not know is that both Wes and George were accomplished amateurs and both had stellar playing careers for the University of South Carolina Gamecocks.
Wesley translated this collegiate success into becoming one of the 25 players to receive their 2016 Web.com tour card after passing Q-School with a score of -6. With George on his bag, Wesley hit the Web.com Latin American circuit, posting mixed results. Following a 7th place finish in Columbia and a missed cut in Panama, Wesley came into the Chitimacha Louisiana Open well rested. This time off paid immense dividends and, after firing rounds of 66-65-71-68, Wesley Bryan claimed his first professional Web.com victory.
With a positive influence manning the bag and a prodigious and accurate long game, Wesley Bryan is positioned to secure many more victories on both the Web.com and PGA Tours, respectively.
