               if melissa isn’t sleeping with bryce, trust for him to have rough time falling asleep. i wrote in a headcanon for him a while ago that he has certain rituals he needs to do to be able to actually rest (unless he’s utterly, exhausted and his body can’t help but to just shut down), but if she’s going to bed with him, he doesn’t need to do any of those things. usually just having his hand somewhere on her so he can feel her heartbeat is enough to get him to sleep easy.
