Nicklas Backstrom's interview after Brynäs ended their playoff run with a 1–4 in matches against Växjö. It was the last game covered under his current one-year contract with the club, which means it may be the last of his career if he does not extend.
If it’s over, what thoughts and feelings will come up then? Obviously, it’s been a lot of fun. Even though I’m really disappointed right now, it’s been an incredible experience to come back and play hockey again. People might have had higher expectations, but at the same time, I’ve been on the sidelines for two years. I’m incredibly happy to be doing what I love. And that’s playing hockey.
