“What, do you have something to say, Hauvell? Do you?” The Captain rounded on the poor knight, who was sitting with Abbot. Both of them backed up a bit.

“A Dance in the Discoblood Paleblood Moon”- moment between Captain Bryndol and Adeline
Photobombed by ask-the-party-church
((Brief collab between ask-the-party-church and I, with an idea from all three parties))
Bryndeline :D
Who cooks Normally? Bryndol’s kind of like a stay-at-home husband with way too much time on his hands. And he lives in a land of heat and lava. You want a barbecue, you talk to the Knight Captain.
How often do they fight? Not too frequently, though you can BET the captain’s habit of withholding information to “protect” others gets on Adeline’s nerves. As does his workaholism. On the flip side, Adeline’s tendency towards stress over the hunt is usually met with annoying calm.
What do they do when they’re away from each other? Adeline is a hunter, so she’s gone a fair amount, and Captain Bryndol will usually be working. They can carry on okay on their own, though the captain frets silently like some overprotective spouse.
Nicknames for each other? Bryn, Bryndy, or Dear Captain. Ady, Lady Whitlock, or some stupidly sweet saying.
Who steals the covers at night? Adeline. Bryndol, as a proto-human species that lives in the Iron Keep, can deal with heat. Cold likewise means relatively little to him, so he sleeps without covers, just a sheet. Adeline, by contrast, needs the sheets; Yharnam is a cold, cold yucky place.
Who is more likely to pay for dinner? Adeline has more spare change from her hunts, but Bryndol has exceptional pride as a knight captain. It’s a race to the check.
What would they get each other for gifts? Adeline would get Bryndol clothes that don’t weigh 37.2 stones, and Bryndol gets Adeline things like new blankets, or stuff that you can only find in Drangleic. He actually leaves the Iron Keep.
Who remembers things? You’d think Bryndol, since he seems to be such a stickler, but the answer is neither. It’s actually Hauvell that reminds them both of important dates, since he’s in charge of logistics. “Captain, your anniversary is today. You could, you know, stop sweeping and go visit her.”
Who cusses more? On average, Adeline. Yharnam is a cesspit, and she’s quick to express that. If you get him angry, the captain can tear you down in five to seven different languages though, including Knight echoes, common, old Drangleic, etc.
What would they do if the other one was hurt? Both would start to panic before switching into “save the lover” mode as they panicked, alternately trying to soothe the one wounded, patch them up, and telling them if they die on the other, they’ll get their ass kicked. Yeah, death and bleeding’s not something you bring up with them.
Who kissed who first? Adeline. All Adeline.
Who started the relationship? Adeline. All Adeline.
