((I love you all.
Seriously.
This place feels more like a home than what real life can offer.
Thank you for the privilige of knowing you guys, you amazing bastards.
I'm...in a strange mood. Mostly very tired. But I had to just thank you...))
Home Again
A mock cough caught his attention, and Brynjolf turned heel, a smile spreading across his face when he caught sight of her. “It’s been a long time, lass.” he greeted. “Welcome back. How long are you plannin’ on staying?”
"Long enough," Madeline retorted with an apologetic smile and a breathy sigh. She gently lifted her old friend's hand and set the coinpurse atop his palm. "Thought I'd stop in to deliver my tithe in person for once." The purse was weighty enough that there were certainly at least a few thousand septims in there; Madeline had given up halfway through filling it, losing count at some point and just shoving in handfuls until the poor purse's delicately embroidered seams began to fray. "Plus, I read whispers of a shard somewhere in the Rift, and I thought I'd come home for a bit while I poked about for more information. What better place to start looking for a piece of a crown than in a sewer, am I right?" She snickered and nudged Brynjolf playfully with her elbow, her elongated canines glinting as she grinned.
Madeline had withheld her main reason for returning; she simply wanted to see Brynjolf again. She always held a certain attraction for the man that inducted her into the guild, but she had too much respect for him for the usual love-and-leave tactics she employed with men. Besides, she wasn't one to tie herself to one man, and her wanderlust lured her away from this place too often. Still, she did enjoy their chats and imagining him scratching his head at her latest ciphered letter. It was something she would never say out loud, but she appreciated the man's presence all the same. As far as Madeline was concerned, Brynjolf was the heart and soul of the guild.
((I wonder if brynjolfs got my ask or it was eaten))

The blonde wandered idly in the marketplace of Riften, azure eyes scanning the various goods and items. She was still adjusting to Skyrim, the cold, the people, and most of all the dragons. As fascinating as they were, she had almost been killed by one. That taught her not to travel out too far unprepared.
Clad in steal armor chest piece, regular pants and a cloak, Blitz actually looked like she belonged. Except, of course, when she spoke. But that didn't happen often. Not looking where she was going, she accidentally bumped into a red head man and immediately let out a small laugh.
"Oh, sorry, bud. Didn't see ya' there."
Death
((Ahhh you jerk!))
"Bryn! Hang on...we're almost home free," mumbled the half-breed Nightingale to her Nordic Nightingale counterpart as she half-carried/half-dragged him to the exit of the Dwemer ruin. The pair were badly injured and burned. However, Brynjolf got the worst of it when he pushed Violet out of the way of a rampaging Centurion.
The supposed heist of a rare Dwemer blueprint and parts was nothing according to the plan they formulated. The triggered dias that held the treasure was a fail-safe that brought every automaton they snuck past in the gods-forsaken ruins to life. They barely were able to get back to the main chamber and seal the door before the Centurion attacked. The pair managed to defeat it, but not before it struck a mortal blow to the Nord.
"Vi...put me down. Please," he asked softly. Nodding, she allowed her friend to rest against the wall as he clutched the unsightly gash in his gut. Violet began to try and heal the wound as best she could, but there was too much trauma and she was no professional healer. She bit her lip to stifle a sob for she knew the inevitable, but she didn't know how to say it. It was then she felt her hood being drawn back and heard a small chuckle escape his lips. "Look at me, lass. C'mon just...look at me...please?" Looking up with tears now spilling down her face, she saw Brynjolf smiling weakly at her with a small trail of blood now trickling from his mouth. "Hey now...don't blame yourself. Not your fault. Listen, look after...the other lads 'n lasses now. I'll put...a good word in...for you...to..our Lady."
Gasping sharply, he grabbed her hand in a death grip and Violet made sure to squeeze back with all her might as she saw the light fading from his eyes and the pulse growing weaker in his veins. Finally, his grip became limp and she knew he was gone from this world. Reaching up, she drew back his hood and shakingly closed his eyes.
"Sh-shadow..hide...you," she sobbed softly as she gathered the corpse up and rocked it gently as she wept openly over the loss of her friend and fellow Nightingale.

Masaline had decided to entertain herself and other around her by juggling some fireballs in the market place at Riften. It was a good way train herself in the control of destruction spells.
And, of course, a good way to call the attention to herself.
In no time she noticed someone looking at her.
"Hello Strangah"
