i would LOVE to hear more about “bad habits (hesitant actions)” 👀👀👀

Hello lovely!

Bad Habits (hesitant actions) is my housemates AU where Kara is a café owner\musician and Lena works somewhere (i haven’t figured it out yet, but I kinda wanna make it a morgue).

It’s a slice of life more so focusing on character interactions instead of being plot heavy. Oh and Lena and Kara are definitely in love, but they don’t see it hehehe.

Here’s an excerpt!

Lena grinned, face warm with both the waffle and happiness, “well look at you. If we weren’t such great friends, I’d kiss you.”

Kara flopped onto the white sofa behind her, face turning beat red to the soundtrack of Lena’s laughter. The business woman took another bite, mirthful eyes never leaving the embarrassed café owner. Kara adjusted her collar, jaw working to swallow the sudden excess of spit.

That’s from the latest chapter, and I have ideas of where it’s gonna go. The only concrete thing I know is that I wanna make it FLUFFY

There’s a lot about the future that Bucky enjoys, despite his outward expression always looking pretty displeased at all times. One of those is new age relaxation tactics, which looking at him any normal person would assume the Winter Soldier would never guess he does yoga in the evenings. Yet he’s got an entire routine set, with a dark purple yoga mat and everything. Another relaxation tactic that Bucky has developed a very big liking for is hot baths and oils. His personal favorite combination is lilac and orange. If he’s having a really hard day he’ll cut up citrus fruits and have the thin slices float along in the water. He draws the line at putting flower petals in the bathwater, or so he swears.

After a long session of yoga, Bucky pads off to the bathroom to draw a hot bath. He prefers the water nearly scalding his skin to soak in as much relaxation as possible. As he runs the hot water, the male gathers up his lilac and orange oils to drip into the water causing a citrusy scent to fill the room as steam fogs up the mirror. Bucky strips himself of his clothing, tossing his sweats aside and peeling off his shirt. He’s glad the mirror is fogged up, he doesn’t always like the sight of his marred flesh looking back him in. So with one less thing having to clear his mind over, Bucky dips into the scalding water, sinking down into it until only his eyes and above are visible over the water. He dips under the water for a moment before rising back up to lean his back against the cold porcelain. As his eyes fall closed, the bigger male takes in deep breaths, counting in five seconds and blowing out five seconds. He had read about the breathing technique in another new age relaxation book, he’s been reading them as if he’s studying a goddamn textbook.

The bathroom door opens and Bucky knows who it is without having to open his eyes. He doesn’t greet him, not yet. He lets the silence settle between them for a moment. Bucky doesn’t always like to admit it, but during times like this he feels very vulnerable and cut open. His emotions are always near the surface and he’s afraid he might crack. So he can be a little on the silent side while he’s taking time to relax. Though despite that quietness that doesn’t mean he wants to be alone. Bucky sits up and pushes himself to the edge of the tub settling upon his knees, fingers catch Steve’s shirt, and easily pull the smaller male to him. He hardly cares he’s getting the poor man wet as he wraps his arms around Steve’s small frame. “Take a bath with me...”
