The Motto
I always said it most surely was,
but they always told me that it probably wasn't.
I still kept hoping that one day it might,
but now I know for sure that it doesn't
matter in the least even today,
but why motherfuckers gotta be that way.
While you count the threads, I make comfort in a crease
and dream of the day that this bullshit will cease.
It's not as simple as tomato/tomato.
Fuck my today, and I'll kill your tomorrow.
We can toast with glasses both brimming in sorrow.
"And justice for all," should be more than a motto.
