JUST A THOUGHT (forgive my random aah brain)
I was thinking that since his ability let's him take the body of the person that attempts to k!ll him, what if it began with like an abusive house like long long back obviously, and like he'd find comfort in God or smth. Then prolly a family member or such murdered him and so his ability let him have their body. And so after many incidents like this, he prolly assumed he is god's messenger or such. And eventually developed an opinion and decided on a goal to accomplish "in the name of God"
Like just food for thought I haven't properly read the recent chapter yet but like what if smth like that triggered all of it ykwim.
