i have a unique sort of hatred for that jacket Picard begins to wear in the later seasons of tng. it makes me feel uncomfortable just looking at it. it's kind of like when you watch someone get injured and feel your skin crawl where they were hurt?? except it's me feeling disgusted seeing him wearing that awful jacket. i know it's MEANT to be comfortable and make him stand out... but the materials... the ribbing (or whatever that is) on the shoulders... is it actually that bad? well no. but still
i want to toss it out of the nearest window. or airlock.
trip as acting captain getting malcolm bangers and mash in the seventh is just funny to me considering they established in silent enemy that all they know about his food preferences is he likes pineapples. so he had to have thought "yeah, this guy's from england, what's some sort of food staple over there?? right... bangers and mash?"
