[BSTS] Aogiri White Day 2026 Reward 5* Card Story
(note: Team C’s show is based on the collection of poetry ‘Le Testament’)
Chapter 1
-break room-
qu: Hmm, let’s see… I tap here and… Huh? It broke again…?
saki: Qu-san? Is something the matter?
qu: Oh Saki, I’m having a bit of trouble at the moment, yes. I want to learn how to use the tablet that takes orders. Kasumi and Hari are busy as usual and Aogiri is busy searching for a new job, right? Seeing them all working so hard has influenced me to challenge myself and attempt something that I can’t do.
saki: Something that you can’t do… And that’s why you have the tablet?
qu: Here at Starless customer orders are usually managed through these tablets. However, I’ve never been able to use one before. So if I learnt how wouldn’t that be more professional of me? That thought made me want to take on the challenge.
-zakuro and aogiri appear-
zakuro: Oh my, is that an electronic device that I see in Qu’s hands? Could this be an omen that a disaster is about to occur?
aogiri: He looks eager to learn.
qu: Did you two overhear our conversation?
aogiri: If you’d like, do you want me to help you?
qu: Huh? You’d be willing to do that?
aogiri: I’m currently taking on all sorts of tasks in order to gauge my own aptitude in various fields. So this is a good opportunity to see if I’m any good at teaching someone something new.
zakuro: My oh my, in that case could you take on a request from me as well? Right now I happen to have a countless amount of jobs I’d like your assistance with, Aogiri.
aogiri: I must decline. Right now my motto is doing things ‘for the benefit of the workplace’. Meaning I’m only accepting jobs that are clean and meaningful.
zakuro: My, what a commendable objective. However, teaching Qu how to use an electronic device is no easy task. It goes hand in hand with hardship. Therefore I shall enjoy watching you struggle from the sidelines.
aogiri: Qu, once you get the hang of how to operate the tablet you’ll be fine. Ah, though it’s probably best if you learn by example first. Do you want to head to the office? We have a meeting there soon anyways.
qu: Sure, thank you.
-starless office-
aogiri: First press the orders app to open it and start by entering your ID.
qu: Got it, I’ll give that a try.
saki: You can do it, Qu-san!
qu: Um, so, first I open the app and— Huh? Aogiri, the screen just went black.
-screen goes black-
aogiri: Oh? Did you perhaps press the wrong button?
qu: I didn’t press anything other than the picture on the app.
aogiri: What…?
zakuro: Fufufu, what a delight, what a delight.
-starless office-
aogiri: All you did was touch it and it crashed the tablet…?

Chapter 2
-starless office-
qu: Sorry, Aogiri. All I did was try and open the orders app. Do you think I broke the tablet?
aogiri: No, that shouldn’t be possible… Could I borrow the tablet for a moment? I’ll force restart it… Alright, all good. Could you try opening the app again?
qu: Ok, I’m just supposed to press this right? …Ah.
saki: It crashed again…
aogiri: How strange, why does that happen? Look, the app on my tablet opens without issue. A device shouldn’t crash just from simply touching the screen…
zakuro: What a profound mystery this is indeed. Qu’s level of tech illiteracy is that of a God.
-hari and kasumi appear-
hari: Hello everyone, hm? Is something going on?
kasumi: Aogiri looks troubled.
aogiri: Oh, good timing, could I pick your brains for a moment? For some reason whenever Qu tries to open the orders app his tablet crashes.
hari: Does the app need to be updated?
aogiri: Let’s see… No, the app is on the latest version.
saki: Oh, maybe the tablet's storage is full?
aogiri: I see, let me check… It’s not that either, there’s still plenty of storage left.
qu: So I really did break it then?
aogiri: Just tapping an app icon shouldn’t break anything though…
kasumi: Hm… Something like that happening isn’t that out of the ordinary for Qu though… Ah. Come to think of it, Unei-kun mentioned that he’s currently testing a beta version of a new orders app. See, doesn’t the colour of the icon on Qu’s tablet look a little different?
aogiri: What? Oh, you’re right.
hari: In that case it must be a bug exclusive to the beta version.
aogiri: So I was lacking the information to solve this myself… I’ll go and ask Unei-san about it then!
-aogiri leaves-
-mokuren appears-
mokuren: What’s he in such a rush for?
qu: He’s gone to find Unei-kun. He left before we could say anything.
mokuren: I see. Well, as long as he’s back in time for the meeting it’s fine.
zakuro: It appears that Aogiri is deadset on solving this problem, like a roaring flame that burns through the silence. I suspect things are about to get even more amusing.

Chapter 3
-rehearsal room-
kasumi: Good work on rehearsal everyone~ I think we made some good progress today.
hari: By the way Aogiri, did you end up sorting out that order app issue? You went to speak with Unei-san, right?
aogiri: No, he had his hands full with other tasks so I haven’t been able to ask him yet.
qu: He’s a busy man too.
mokuren: Unei’s never around when you need him most.
kasumi: He’d be really hurt if he heard that, y’know.
zakuro: Worry not, sometimes the wind shall blow in your direction without you needing to chase after it. That is often the case with the winds of spring.
-unei rushes in-
unei: —Excuse me! Is Qu-san present!?
zakuro: Oh my, speak of the devil.
qu: Me? What’s the matter?
unei: This tablet is frozen and won’t work… I’d recently installed a new orders app onto it. I heard that you were trying to use it recently, Qu-san, so…
aogiri: I see, so what Kasumi said is true then?
unei: Hm? What do you mean…?
aogiri: Could I borrow that tablet for a moment? I’ll delete the new app and install the standard one… Alright, we’re good to go. Qu, could you try opening this app?
qu: Got it, I’ll try.
hari: Ah!
qu: It opened without issue…!
aogiri: I’m glad. So the cause was that other version of the app after all.
unei: Um… Are you saying the other app was bugged?
aogiri: That appears to be the case, yes.
kasumi: Why did you start testing a new app, Unei-kun? Were there problems with the standard one?
unei: Oh, um… The new app was strongly recommended to me by one of our business partners and after hearing their enthusiasm it made me want to try it out. In this day and age it’s important to keep our technology up to date, we’re already in the era of AI! I figured it wouldn’t be good to get stuck in an old fashioned way of doing things… But perhaps I got a bit too ahead of myself?
mokuren: I mean the app doesn’t even work, right? Are you sure that business partner is trustworthy?
aogiri: From what I saw of its behaviour that app is still way too unstable to be installed onto an actual device yet.
qu: Wow, so we’re in the era of AI, are we? You’re amazing for challenging yourself with such new things, Unei-kun.
unei: Uu… Qu-san…! Thank you so much for saying so!
qu: You’ve given me even more motivation to sort this out. Could I try using the tablet again? I want to be able to take orders by myself with it after our shows.
aogiri: I will continue to support you then.
qu: Are you sure? Ok then, I’ll be counting on you.
unei: Good luck, Qu-san. I’ll be rooting for you!
kasumi: It’s always commendable to try your best at something.
hari: I’m sure it will work out this time.
aogiri: Ok, so now you’ll need to enter your ID into the app you just opened.
qu: Got it. Um, so I tap here and… Ah.
-screen goes black-
aogiri: …!? The tablet crashed again…!?
-rehearsal room-
zakuro: My oh my, we’ve been sucked back into that profound mystery once again. The never-ending path ahead is sure to have many difficulties in store.

Chapter 4
-starless lobby-
aogiri: Welcome to our White Day show, I have been awaiting your arrival. Allow us to dedicate this story of pursuing beauty for eternity to you.
saki: I’m looking forward to seeing tonight’s show.
aogiri: Thank you. Fufu, I’m in a good mood tonight. After the incident with the beta app, I’ve been helping Qu practice using the tablet a whole lot. And eventually he began to show positive results.
saki: Really? So does that mean…
aogiri: Yes, Qu is able to operate the tablet on his own now. He’ll be debuting his newfound skill today. Come now, I’ll escort you to your seat.
-starless restaurant area-
aogiri: I’ll leave the rest to you, Qu.
qu: Got it. I’ll try my best. Welcome, Saki. What would you like to order tonight?
saki: I’d like one orange juice please.
qu: Understood. (starts using the tablet) Ok first I go to the drinks category… Yeah that’s the one. And now I need to scroll down… There it is, I select the orange juice and… and then, um…?
saki: You probably need to press a ‘confirm order’ button right?
qu: Oh, yes you’re right. Once I press this button the order will be completed. …! I did it. The order went through.
saki: Yay! Congratulations!
aogiri: You handled that wonderfully, Qu.
qu: Aogiri, Saki… Thank you both. I’m honestly feeling a little emotional right now, I never thought the day would come where I’m able to take an order using the tablet… Since until now, there hasn’t been a single day that I haven’t broken the tablet in the process.
aogiri (shocked): Not a single day…?
saki: I’m feeling quite moved myself too. It’s amazing that you were finally able to overcome one of your weaknesses.
aogiri: (clears his throat) Yes, I’m glad that my assistance proved useful.
qu: Fufu, this has been a very productive spring. Both for me and for Aogiri who is about to take a new step forward in his life.
aogiri: Indeed. However, the real deal is only starting now. I’ll move Saki-san with my performance in our show next.
qu: In our show we all express our endless yearning for the heroine. I’ll engrave this dazzling beauty into my soul, as it is you who I so long for.
aogiri: The curtain will rise soon. Please burn this expression of eternal beauty into your memory.
