It had been a few minutes now since he forsook his humanity in favor of eternal life and youth. He was restored to what he’d once been back in his prime and it filled him with no small amount of joy to be able to move and act as he once had so many years ago.
Straizo didn’t stop there however. He never intended to spend eternity alone, it was why he had set this up. Why he had invited Speedwagon to this place where both the new stone mask and the strange man in the pillar was discovered. He’d only just removed the mask, Roberts bodyguards and aids lay dead, their blood used as fuel for his transformation. Robert however he left alive as he casually walked toward his friend.

No one would likely think him the Ruffian he had been years ago with how he looked now if not for his scared face.
It was such a shame to let the blond waste away, it was why Straizo was offering Speedwagon a better opportunity. This was in Speedwagon’s best interest, life as a vampire wouldn’t be so bad. If he had to, he do what he must be done for the blond’s own benefit. Robert would thank him in time but he would try to make him hear reason first....
