Metztlitototl wakes up in an aztec city, without any memory of who he is or where he came from. Not even the gods know, and Mictlantecuhtli, the ruler of the underworld, is so intrigued by the strange boy that he places him under his protection. But that position is not as comfortable as it might seem: the city’s god does not suffer the influence of Mictlantecuhtli, and his priest ist willing to do everything for his god.
