We are delighted to share that today, under our Medical Oncology initiative, Basavatarakam Indo‑American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute, in association with the Indian Society for Clinical Research (ISCR), successfully organized the Research Methodology Workshop.
This full‑day academic program brought together participants for an intensive journey through the fundamentals of research design, defining research problems, case‑control vs cohort perspectives, data collection and statistical concepts, interpretation, and report writing. The sessions also highlighted best practices in publication writing and the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence in scientific research, culminating in a discussion on reading and evaluating practice‑changing papers.
Participants and faculty alike expressed that this was a rare and valuable initiative, with topics that were highly relevant, impactful, and thoughtfully curated. Many shared that the workshop offered great clarity, practical insights, and useful guidance for every clinician, making it a truly enriching academic experience. The selection of themes was widely appreciated as timely and essential, and the initiative was commended as a significant contribution by our Medical Oncology department.
The workshop reflected our Silver Jubilee commitment to advancing cancer care and academic excellence, combining structured lectures, interactive discussions, and practical insights. We extend our sincere thanks to all the faculty members, participants, and our operations teams for ensuring seamless coordination and hospitality throughout the day.
