Escape this town for a little while
Tagging:Sydney Berry & Jesse St.James
Location: San Francisco
Timeframe: Friday morning 11/11/16
Notes: When Sydney goes back to their secret place to clear her mind for the first time in awhile, she runs into Jesse who is doing the same.
Sydney had been having a rough couple of days. She didn’t mean to fight with everyone, she just had the worst way of trying to explain to everyone what she was feeling. And apparently, it wasn’t going over very well. Part of her wished she could just run away from all of her problems, but she knew she couldn’t do that. Another part of her wished she didn’t have to deal with anyone, and just spent all of her time alone, just curled up in her blankets and not come out. But she couldn’t do that either. What she could do though, was to go to a spot that Jesse had taken her too back in high school. It was a nice little spot on part of the beach that was hidden away from most people. She had to admit, that it was very calming and over the years,it had became her spot to go when things got bad.
She hadn’t been there in awhile, she wasn’t even sure if she even knew how to get there anymore. As she soon as she started driving, it was like her instinct just took over, and it lead her to that spot. Sydney had never told anyone about that spot, she just wanted to get away without anyone trying to find her. She was able to just go and clear her mind, looking out at the water for an hour or two, before she had to go back to real life. There was no way she was going to share this with anyone else.
Sure that she had lost any traces of a camera crew, she carefully made her way down to the special place, laying out a small blanket that she had brought with her to sit on. And lucky for her, she was hidden away behind a few large rocks, no one would find her for hours. It was still pretty early in the morning, and there was no one around, it was peaceful. Turning off her phone, she pulled her jacket closer to her body and looked out at the sun rising over the water. For a few moments, she didn’t have a care in the world and she was the only one, by herself like she wanted. Until every thought she had started running through her mind, and a few tears rolled down her cheek, patting them away as quickly as they started.
