Bangtan sims evolution: Jeon Jungkook

(Or the sim I thought was easier to make and ended up being my nightmare)

Version 1: I initially believed he looked quite realistic. But there was a downside, aside from that hairstyle, he didn't look good with any other hairstyle. Also, mm and alfa cc together is so jarring to look at.

Version 2: Minor changes. Nothing quite noticeable. Oh, and I married another hairstyle.

Version 3: I worked on him on the sideline. I had a base bangtan sim, but I didn't like how he was done, so I made this one from scratch. I had the same problem like with version 1, he didn't work with a different hairstyle.

Version 4: Made some changes, but there were moments he looked so JK and some he looked, idk, off. The one with the red jacket, he looks so realistic, tbh.

Version 5: Ugh, I messed something with his face, and it took me so long to realize what it was.

*Version 5.1: The eyes were better. The nose was more JK. The mouth was also good. BUT THERE WAS SOMETHING OFF AND I SPEND MOST OF THE TIME TWEAKING HIM. (It was around this time I started getting frustrated with the game and Tumblr)

Version 6: And I found what had done wrong! Found an eye and nose preset that worked better. Changed his mouth and entire face shape. I do feel he looks realistic. I came to the realization, how many portray his eyes is based more on selfies with filter, than how he looks bare faced or during photoshoots, that was the biggest game changer for me.

Bangtan sims evolution: Park Jimin

Version 1: No. Go away.

Version 2: Only changed his hair. Groundbreaking. 😐

Version 3: Also a base Bangtan sim. My biggest deal was the hair and eyes color, since our real Jiminnie loves colored contact lenses.

I felt og creator made a good work. But something still didn't fully convince me.

Version 4: The nose again was my biggest concern, and I felt he look quite angry, not as soft as real Jimin. Also, blonde is his natural hair color in real life and in sim version.

Version 5: I tweaked everything but the nose... He looked good, but still, there was something off.

*Version 5.1: I made him softer, changed his nose a little and eyes. But looking at him now, even if he's a cute sim, he ain't Jimin.

Version 6: Does he look like real Jimin? I'm not so sure. He looks soft as the real one, I feel I nailed his face shape and nose, as well as his mouth (his lips are as full as Jin's, but his upper lip is a little bit thinner). I also spend a long time analyzing his eyes, so this is my best rendition of his real eyes. Jimin pretty.

Bangtan sims evolution: Kim Taehyung

Version 1: NOOOOOOOOOOPE

Version 2: More realistic but still, the basic cc everyone uses on him.

Version 3: He looked better but again, I lost him. Sad.

*Version 3.1: He's perfect. Let's roll with him and never change him.

Version 4: Yep, you're beautiful and perfect.

Version 5: How you look so realistic? I love you so much!

Version 6: Taehyung sim, you're perfect and I'll never tweak you.

Bangtan sims evolution: Min Yoongi

(Or one of the 4 sims I worked the most tweaking, and may not look as realistic but I love him so much, thank you)

Version 1: I was extremely focused on beanies and that FG shirt.

Version 2: As with SJ, I downloaded a base sim, but being honest, I wasn't a big fan of how he was made, so I tweaked some stuff...

Version 3: The only sim that survived the game collapsing, because I had tweaked him days before the others. I made his eyes more cat-like and smaller, as well as more defined lips and the beginning of my obsession with noses.

*Version 3.1: Not many changes done, I started experimenting with different hairstyles and the use of Reshade until...

Version 4: I love that hairstyle, I forgot the creator, but that hairstyle is lovely, it's beautiful, I'm in love with it. I changed the nose, and went with it for so long, until I realized it looks nothing like his real nose. But still, Yoongi pretty.

Version 5: I made changes to his eyes and face shape, but most importantly, the nose (still not perfect, but I was getting closer to it!). Also, I fell in love with this hairstyle that I feel looks so similar to his current hairstyle.

Version 6: Yoongi pretty.

Also, it may seem like he lost his pupils, but for that styling I gave him really light eyes. If you look closer, his pupils are in there!

Bangtan sims evolution: Kim Namjoon

Version 1: I almost pee myself laughing when I found the first version I did, around December 2019. Mein göt! What's going on with his eyes?!

Being honest I felt quite proud about my Bangtan sims, but now I'm like "tf?".

Version 2: There was an attempt. I tried to make the nose closer to his real nose, but still nope, not even close.

Version 3: This version got lost after I messed up with the game, it closed unexpectedly without giving me time to save. These screenshots are extremely low quality. They looked pretty good in here, but sadly, I couldn't recover them.

This was the first time I got really mad at the game.

*Version 3.1: I'm low-key married with that hairstyle for Joon.

Version 4: The photoshoot era!

The tweaking was minimal, but I kept changing stuff, specially with the eyes, nose and mouth.

Version 5: Again, no big changes done in here.

Version 6: It may look like there weren't many changes. BUT THERE WERE A LOT. I changed the face shape, the size of the mouth, I feel I finally managed to get his nose and eyes right.

Bangtan sims evolution: Jung Hoseok

(Oh, boy, Hobi has been such a pain in the ass, but after so long, I'm happy with the result)

Version 1: Idk, I feel he looked good, but the high cheekbones weren't my cup of tea. Also, my constant battle: His nose and eyes.

Version 2: Maybe yes. Maybe no. The nose? Nope. Standard sim nose, it isn't Hobi's nose.

Version 3: Good thing this sim got lost, it looked awful up close.

Version 4: There are times I loved how he looked, and times I completely felt he didn't look anywhere close to Hobi. I lost track of the amount of times I changed his nose.

Version 5: I finally understood real Hobi's features. I analyzed his nose and face shape a lot. It could've been perfect, but the lips weren't as defined.

Version 6: Yes, I love him finally. The long face? Yes. Found the perfect nose preset. Finally defined his lips and found the right size. Not to flatter myself, but my Hobi sim is the most good looking of the ones I've seen.

Bangtan sims evolution: Kim Seokjin

Version 1: No words. At least I gave him his full lips and wide shoulders.

I thought he looked oh-so realistic *sigh*.

Version 2: I used a base Jin sim. Made minor changes, but I mostly kept him the same throughout the following months, I mostly changed his hairstyle and makeup, so I won't elaborate that much.
