@bttrflywings 💜😀👍😺
Everytime I post one of these bitchy marriage complaint posts now I think "this is it, you crazy bitch, you are definitely going to receive hate messages now." Instead, I get you lovelies. Thank you 💜 We talked (I cried) for like an hour this morning, and it felt 100% pointless, but I guess it probably wasn't.
Thank you @bttrflywings for the housewarming mail! You really really really didn't have to be so generous!
Hope you are feeling better 💜
Everyone please send well-wishes and support to @bttrflywings today!

Whoa that's crazy. I don't see it on mobile. Tumblr is a mystery to me. I tagged the post with #OUAT because I was watching Once Upon a Time (on DVR) and that's what inspired the comment. I used to get into the tag on here, but this season has kind of sucked until now! After writing that sentence, my phone keyboard encouraged me to search "Once Upon a Time" lol. ABC must have bought the deluxe promo package from Tumblr!
True story: @bttrflywings whenever I am looking up your address in my contacts I search for "bttrfly..." And then Google is like "_what??_ I can't find that." and I'm like "oh yeah she has a name..."
Thank you, dears.
@bttrflywings yes, I checked the manual, but they issued an update to time off policies last year and thank goodness I looked into that today. It turns out they only request two weeks notice (“but of course more is always better”)! I also realized I rolled over 1.7 vacation days and have 2 personal days that I won’t get paid out for if I don’t use.
Unfortunately there is now a growing snowstorm due to hit us into late morning tomorrow, so this torturous interview prep stress continues!
bttrflywings replied to your text post: "Why doesn't the shelter foot the bill for the vet? If they want her to be adopted, shouldn't that fall on them to make sure she's in good health?' They will if they think it's necessary. Foster animals have all of their care covered so long as I take the car to the shelter's clinic. When I picked her up they thought that she wasn't in pain and just needed to be around people in order to eat (which she does seem to need to some extent). They said she would need the cleaning in the next few months in order to avoid pain, and fosters usually get adopted within two months. They are a non-profit organization and are staffed in large part by volunteers. They can hardly afford to run the shelters that they have, which are never enough to keep the animals in the city shelters from getting euthanized (they send the overflow to PAWS). From her record, it sounds like Margo did get a decent amount of medical care when she first came in. They spay/neuter, de-worm, de-flea, and give essential medical care to every cat that comes in, but I guess they have to draw the line at the expensive stuff if the cat isn't in pain (a cleaning is like $500). Maybe she'll be getting her cleaning now after all! Things are so crazy in the shelter that I wouldn't put it past them to miss something like that.
