So what was your favorite aspect of BU your freshman year? And what dorm did you stay in and did you like it? Also, I'm thinking about doing FYSOP but it's pretty expensive... What would you recommend?
My favorite thing was probably how BU organized a bunch of events the first few weeks of school which allowed you to get familiar with the campus and also meet new people. And just living in Boston in general was great! I lived in West Campus and I totally would recommend it even though I'm in CAS and it was a little far from my classes. It has a sort of mini campus feel which can be nice since everything else at BU is just up and down Com Ave. I personally think it has the better dinning hall as well. Lastly I didn't do FYSOP (I couldn't because I went to the last orientation) but all my friends that did it always say good things about it. It's a really good way to get familiar with the city and you'll most likely meet your first group of friends there.
