Happy Forest:

Deep in the heart of a countryside thicket, this happy little forest is a rocking. Beneath the shade of a large tree grows a batch cute little mushrooms, all too happy to show their chipper attitudes.

Every once in a whole you have to pay homage to people out there doing it right. When it comes to vector illustration, I find a lot of inspiration in Sascha Preuss from Germany and his Bublefriends blog. He knows how to create characters that tell a story with their expressions.That's where this doodle comes from.
