The Curse of the Fcking Crossbow

Whilst investigating the death of a local lawyer, an awesome sharpshooter called Finn Idunno uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, fucking crossbow circulating throughout the city. As soon as anyone uses the crossbow, he or she has exactly 26 days left to live.
The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look faint. A marked person feels like a rugged wolf to touch.
Finn gets hold of the crossbow, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into his mind: a handsome fox balancing on an awesome lawyer, an old newspaper headline about a fall accident, a hooded crow ranting about arms and a drinking well located in an interesting place.
When Finn notices his hair have wolf-like properties, he realises that the curse of the fucking crossbow is true and calls in his friend, a superhero called Go Tamago, to help.
Go examines the crossbow and willingly submits himself to the curse. He finds that the same visions flash before his eyes. He finds the handsome fox balancing on an awesome lawyer particularly chilling. He joins the queue for a supernatural death.
Finn and Go pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded crow. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up?
