Small announcement / rant

I've been feeling quite detached from this website and the ut/dr community in general. I actually felt like this back in 2016 before I disengaged completely from the fandom (happy ten year anniversary, I guess.)

All the artists I used to follow when I started this blog have slowly disappeared from Tumblr, and I find myself refreshing my dash over and over, hoping to see something that will bring the sparkle back, but I only see blank posts from my filtered tag list, if anything. You can't get juice from a rock I guess. It's not like I bring much to the table either, so I shouldn't complain.

I'm gonna take a break from posting here in general. I don't know how long it'll be until I come back. Maybe a week, maybe a year.

I'm not sure if I'll keep updating my fics for the time being, but if I do, I'll probably avoid looking at the few comments I'll get because engagement in general has been something quite triggering lately, so don't be surprised if I don't respond to comments on Ao3. I'll read them eventually when I feel better.

Having a master's degree on videogame localization and seeing people defending Toby Fox like their lives depend on it...

I totally understand his point of view, but I really don't defend him. Especially when he's said stuff like this:

Sorry for taking so long to post, but I recently started working at a new job and it's been very draining (mostly of my free time because I work long hours), BUT I'm trying my hardest to update 2x1 soon 🙇‍♀️
