Same Energy
Your thoughts on each one of the Powerpuff girls as individuals. What do you like/dislike about each one of the three?
Bubbles has the most boring design, but I like how she's secretly the strongest out of all of them. For the whole duration of one episode. I like Blossom's design and voice the best, in English and Dutch, but I'm not sure if her personality stands out the most. I have nothing noteworthy to say about Buttercup. I don't like how overly tough and gross she acts sometimes, but generally speaking, there's nothing I like or dislike about her. Buttercup just is.
Since I’m a kid I loved the designs of the giant monsters (or kaijus) in 98s Powerpuff Girls. They are so colorful and look like a cross between anime and Hanna-Barbera artstyle. I specially loved these ones from that episode were Bubbles went apeshit.
When I was a kid my favorite used to be that pterodactyl with 6 nipples. It still holds a special place in my heart but my new favorite is definetly that black dinosaur with blue claws, I love his color scheme and that it kinda looks like a Made in China plastic dinosaur toy.
Special mention to the pink scrotum octopus.

So let’s try doing spotlights each day this week!
I remember this one being a big deal, seeing cute little Bubbles go hardcore. It helped to show another shade of the character, that even though she works well as the sweet side of the team, she’s able to get just as tough as her sisters when she needs to. It added to her character without taking away what made her a favorite.
And at the same time, it shows one thing that was special about the series- that despite how violent it could get, it remained funny. And let’s not be mistaken, this would definitely be rated TV PG if it were on today. And that’s part of its greatness.
