How are you feeling about the elithian mod so far, lore-wise? I haven't tried it myself, but I've heard some people say the lore doesn't fit all that well with that of the base game, particularly in the case of the aegi

I'm gonna be honest, I haven't really delved into the new lore very much. I have all the codicies... and just keep forgetting to read them. Too busy farming 😅️
Aesthetically, I think all the races and assets fit very nicely into the Starbound theme. I love the cooking progression. I do find it a bit odd that you never encounter Aegi on planets. Trink and Avikan settlements can be found across the stars, as can the Centensian ruins - but I've yet to find an Aegi settlement.
I would say that the quests are a bit hit-n-miss, though. They start off easily enough, but then get very difficult, very quickly. I've mostly abandoned them, if I'm honest.
Overall I'm enjoying it though. I like having the extra content when exploring, so that the Universe is a bit more populated.
