"HORNee" made me laugh. I don't know what it is with people in recent years trying to push hard stans out of fandoms. It's so weird to me. When I first got into internet fandoms (for the HP books and LotR movies because I am not young), all of my friends were hard stans. I've always preferred to be a lurker instead, but nobody bothered me about it. If you don't want to engage with hard stans, just keep scrolling. They're usually the ones minding their own business, anyway.
I guess it is seen as disrespectful now? But I think equating being HORNee to that automatically is reductive. Some soft stans infantilize and objectify idols in their own way, there is no moral high ground to be had here.
And you are right, no one is forcing you to interact with such discourse, just move along. More Jinki dick for me, I say. I don't want you sucking on the same lolli anyways.
