“quit fucking around with my camera,” damien mumbles, kneeling down to pick up andromeda from the floor.

buck clicks his tongue, fixing the strap around his neck, fumbling with the power button.

“i want a picture—“ buck says simply, accidentally pressing the button, the camera taking a quick photo with the flash.

andromeda howls with discomfort, rolling around in damien’s arms as he frowns slightly, brows furrowed.

“hey.”

“sorry!” buck’s tongue stays between his lips, grimacing.

the photo slides out from he camera, much damien’s annoyance. film costs a lot.

“hopefully it’s an okay picture.”

buck grins, “with your fake snake bites and shittily slicked back hair?”

“with your flea-infested daughter?” damien bites back.

DESCRIPTION. buchanan orville karvak. he was pretty normal growing up despite his household circumstances. he was levelheaded, internally anxious, and decently content with his life in pine ridge with damien seth jones. he was a good student, bad at reading but adored math, and did various extracurriculars -- cross country, marching band, and track. an overachiever in just about everything, buck truly had it made.

after being kidnapped by damien, he changed. he developed a form of stockholm syndrome, traumatized by his captor and longing for his attention. he became a recluse, rarely leaving his residence unless prompted. his mental state became unstable, up until dami's return and their move to the cabin.

VISAGE. ever since he was a kid, buck's always been lanky and tall. he's lacking in body mass due to his upbringing -- food wasn't always available for dinner -- and his eating disorders throughout high school and college. he's got fair skin with plenty of freckles scattered about, all of which damien loves to kiss and dote on. his arms and legs are covered in self-harm scars, deep keloids covering his forearms and thighs.

as a kid, buck's hair was insanely curly, looking like an exact replica of his mother, claudine. as he grew, he took less and less care of his hair, turning his curls to waves. in middle school, he began growing out his sideburns, and has kept them since.

DESCRIPTION. to the public, d. seth jones is a quiet pine ridge university photographer. his income comes from parents who live in new york city, a mere three hours away, and he lives in a generational home which his grandfather left his mother years ago. the public also happens to know he comes from a cultist lineage, liberated at age five. his formative years being so violent and destructive— he loves to be in control. buchanan karvak knows this best; he’s always had trouble adjusting to new things. he didn’t like losing things he’s had his whole life. perhaps he just grew attachments too easily.

VISAGE. damien has thick, shaggy dark brown hair and brown eyes. he is rather tanned, (he bakes, not burns!) having a few moles scattered along his body. he's tall for a filipino, and works out rather often to maintain his muscle mass. for someone who is wasian, he doesn't quite look the part unless you look at him really hard, to be honest. he has black snakebite piercings, an eyebrow and industrial piercing on his right side, and both earlobes pierced. he has nipple piercings, a bellybutton piercing, and a jacob's ladder. damien also has a few tattoos here and there. he has a red crosshair on his temple, he has an antler on his rib, and a lil 'bite me.' on the back of his neck, written in buck's handwriting. damien has a few self harm scars on his arms.

damien's appearance was heavily inspired by evan myers. his character arc was heavily inspired by fanon kagehara.

damien has a small, pocket manifesto he rewrote almost word for word back when he was younger. it is incredibly special to him. he keeps it in his car, and it goes with him wherever he goes.

damien was yearbook president, and worked on school journalism. he preferred taking photos instead of talking to people.

damien's father wrote 'sethan' for his middle name when he was born as a joke because they couldn't decide on 'seth' or 'ethan.' he forgot to change it. damien's mother helped him legally change it before high school.

although not having taken the mcat, damien is well versed in medicine and surgical procedures thanks to his mentor.

damien used to be part of a hockey team in highschool. he played center. he was quite rude.
