This binding I had finished for a couples month ago. The binding follow French style "passé carton", but the text block was punched holes (not sawing), sewing on tape and connect to the boards, hard spine smooth sanding as well. Of course, this binding still have ton of points need to be improve, fine binding, especially French style was not easy for the self taught bookbinder like me. The most love thing I am happy with that is having a good sharp of endcaps and the cover can open well. This time to back to see my old binding and prepare for some improment binding.
