Olly putting his hands over Tre's ears on pg 172?? i'm crying. the way you show your characters truly pay attention to each other's quirks and needs, SO GOOD

ahhhh I'm so happy you noticed!! It's been such a joy to write two characters who've known and cared about each other for over a decade, and the ways they connect and disconnect.

I like to think that the hands-over-ears was something that was offhandedly suggested to Tre in therapy or by a friend, and he figured why not take it literally as a way to ground himself
