Bristol Farm - Spring
Main Street Boarding House
...is actually a respectable boarding house, not a cat house thankyouverymuch. It sits next to the General Store and is run by Mrs Felicity Nash. She’s a widow and likes to run a tight ship, but she’s also welcoming and excited to be starting a new life in Buckstown.
Downstairs contains a large parlour with fireplace, seating, bookcase, chess and an easel; a large kitchen with long table; and Mrs Nash’s room which is off-limits to all guests.
Upstairs there is a suite with parlour and two small bedrooms which is currently being rented by Andrew Russet (right centre in the last pic), who will be the town’s Sheriff once he gets the necessary skills and a jailhouse is built, along with his teenage daughter Annie (left, dark hair).
Then there are three single rooms. Two of these are being rented by Father Rudyard Oliver (right, closest in the green shirt) who is a priest of the Holy Plumbob and is looking to found a church and religious community in Buckstown. He’s joined by his sister (blonde hair) Rose Oliver.
When I played Buckstown 4 years ago, I had two households, one containing an elderly couple who founded a church and also functioned as an Orphanage, and the other with Andrew Russet and his daughter. I decided to do things a bit differently this time around. Newcomers to the town will usually need some time to get settled and accrue funds to have a homestead built. Although I liked the orphanage idea, it seemed unrealistic to have one in a town so very small, and I think that a young, fit priest would probably be selected for a frontier church plant rather than an aging couple. So for now they are at the Boarding House while they get integrated into the community.
Buckstown General Store
Owned by Marisa Roebuck and currently the only shop in town

Bristol Farm - internals
No bathroom - there’s an outhouse, outside shower and a tin bath. Head-canon it’s something they’d have hanging somewhere and bring out when they need it, but for ease of play, I just have it in the barn.
I placed the sewing corner for Brandi, but when I started playing, Bernard revealed his chosen hobby to be arts and crafts, so now it’s his sewing corner.
Bristols Spring
Running the farm was hard work. I stopped taking pics after the first day because I was just trying to keep them all alive. x.x
