re: where did the monster get his novelty tees

my headcanon is that eliot ‘greatest creative project of my life’ waugh took a /while/ to establish the dandy look, and when he first moved away for college he was 100% a ‘funny tee’ guy for a little bit (remember it would have been 2010/11 and they were very en vogue then) and he couldn’t bring himself to part with them… which I guess also means the monster knew where home was and went back to PKC to raid El’s things and try and work out how to find Q which is a whole other concept

okay I *love* this headcanon..... kinda makes me wanna both laugh & weep with love & affection to think of little 18 year old Eliot picking out "funny" tshirts at the mall thinking that could be his ~thing~ 😭😭😭 probably after seeing the "cooler" kids wearing them in Indiana but trying to dress himself more under the radar.... and it's devastating to think of the monster destroying that piece of his history 😭😭😭

(also it's funny to think of the monster going through Eliot's closet and throwing all the vests & ties & button downs on the floor like "this is all garbage!!!" until they find the box of tshirts in the back corner and open it up like "NOW THAT'S THE STUFF" lmao)

also, GOD, the monster at the PKC trying to figure out how to get back to Q..... Eliot in his happy place version of the PKC trying to figure out how to get back to Q...............
