God damn it, Sam.  “He always does this,” Sierra sighed with a shake of her head as she wiped the towel dry and pushed it back into the cabinet.  It was their duty to clean up after dinner this week. The three of them. Sam ran away sometime after dessert had come. Disappeared to use the bathroom and never came back.  “Next time we should leave before he gets the chance. Make him deal with this mess alone,” Sierra grumbled and gestured to the sink full of soapy suds that he had his hands in.  Push all the dishes onto Sam so he’d have to do them alone? “I would be down for that,” Bucky answered, no hesitation. The man deserved it, after all this was the third time in a row he had done this.  “Go where though?” Bucky asked, curiously, eager to know what she had in mind. “He’d use FRIDAY to find us immediately and reenact revenge.” Sierra shrugged and her gaze dipped down to the next plate he handed her. “Hide out by the lake?” she asked.  His brain short-circuited. “Under that one willow tree?” That one where he has dreamed would be a great date spot? Fuck, what he’d give to lay under the stars with her. 

Sierra nodded and looked up at him. “Yeah,” she answered softly. He was blushing. He knew he was. He felt his ears buzzing. He felt his heart hitting his ribcage. “Sounds like a plan,” he responded smoothly, he really fuckin’ hoped it was smooth.
