As we near the first anniversary of Buddy's restaurant at the Palazzo, he tells Eater.com he's still surprised the people get all excited to see him. He speculated on a second Carlo's Bakery in Vegas, and praises his local partners Elizabeth Blau and Kim Canteenwalla.
The Real Time Vegas staff lunched at Buddy V's last week, enjoying the food and the view of The Strip. But we spied the plywood across the hall at the Grand Canal Shoppes with a bit of anticipation. Coming semi-soon (the end of this month is Susan Stapleton's best guess) is Carlo's Bakery. It promises to be filled with all the good stuff from 'Cake Boss.' Stay hungry, my friends.
