@budgen / with the rise of the sun renee slowly woke up. the sun softy kissed her face as the blond felt the world coming to life slowly. it was quiet in the bedroom and in the house except for another person’s breathing right next to her head. closer than he had been when they fell asleep. closer than maybe they should be.
brown eyes were opened sleepily and she was looking right at the back of the head of tom. her chest pressed against his wide and muscular frame from behind, her arm lightly holding him close, her thighs pressed against the back of his thighs. huh. when had that happened? of course neither of them had control of what they did while they were asleep but waking up to spooning him really had been the least of things the canadian expected.
was it so terrible though? was it really bad of her to enjoy the peaceful moment, the soft touch, the shared heat? nobody would ever know. not even tom as long as he was still asleep. as long as she’d peel herself off his body before he woke up, it was fine. she deserved to feel good, didn’t she? even if it was short lived and a secret forever. even then, renee deserved the calmness of the morning. just a few minutes ... she closed hr eyes again, not yet ready to be fully awake and not ready to let reality settle in on her again. tom and her. just the two of them. just for a few seconds. until he’d wake up. or until he was up. or until they chose to stand up. maybe ... softly, she sighed, allowed herself to inhale his scent from the soft skin in his neck.
alright. she should let him go. before he would notice. a soft peck was placed on his shoulder before renee rolled onto her back, trying not to wake him as she did.
