This is before Buford and Baljeet start interacting regularly enough for Baljeet to be scared of Buford. I imagine that Baljeet moved to Danville a bit later in life, when he was roughly 3 sweeps old (6 in human years) from Southeastern Alternia, possibly because Isabella was at this point recently crowned the newest Heiress and he wants to be close to where all the political action is. But he’s shy enough at first to not start trying to interact with everyone until he’s 4 sweeps old (roughly 9)

In my AU, I think that Buford and Isabella probably clashed heads more than in canon, to the point of outright black flirting. (To the point where Phineas starts being their Auspistice, mostly mediating their conflicts by creating safe and fun challenges for them a la Ferb Games.) (also because the idea that the first version of romance Isabella actually scores with Phineas being Auspistice is just. So funny to me. Get mediated ya lovesick idiot)

So when Baljeet shows up and Buford starts feeling intense hatred for him, wanting to knock him down a peg, Isabella COULD be jealous. OR she could be a polyamorous little shit and use this as an opportunity for intense teasing. (Girl’s got like 6 moirails in the form of the fireside girls you think she can’t share a rival? Please. Buford’s accidentally blackflirting with everyone constantly anyway she knows what she’s about)

Buford and Baljeet do obviously become a quadrant-smearing mess of a relationship at some point but that comes later
