I wish we’d gotten to see more of Tara and Spike raising Dawn because it had a great impact on them. They became a lot more mature and sensitive in a very short time. They went through every change you’d expect parents to go for their child.

Buffy confession: The right one for Buffy...Loooong post..

With the 20 year BTVS reunion(my Buffy reunion-craving heart thanks EW for this!!), there are ship-wars going on: Bangel or Spuffy..while it is so blatantly clear that the cast (namely Sarah,David and James) believes that Angel is Buffy’s one, there are theories by fans everywhere on how Spike’s love is real..it is deep..their love is mature…Buffy & Angel was just puppy love..

Let’s break it down..Spike and Buffy’s relationship was unhealthy from the start (even Joss said this)..although he loves her, she used him..she just wanted to feel something..but because she’s not a soulless being,spending time with Spike and seeing his love for her naturally made her feel something for him..sadly, she knew that was it;she had feelings for him..it couldn’t be more than that..when she finally comes to her senses and see the whole Spike thing is not good,she ends it..

After that Spike tried to rape her which pisses me off!!..in my opinion,NOTHING JUSTIFIES HIM RAPING BUFFY!!…NOTHING anyone says will make it okay!..but what I felt came through in this episode was finally letting us see that this is why Buffy could never love Spike..he has a darkness in him that naturally as a demon, he will act on his violent urges..now,ppl may argue Angel has a darkness(Angelus) too but the soul allowed him control..we all know that Buffy will never let Angelus in therefore same logic applies to Spike…she knows she should not have done it with Spike and she realises this in an earlier ep when she confesses to Tara and breaks down..it devastates her because she knows it’s wrong..this is not how she should behave..

Shocked by his act of trying to rape Buffy,he went to go and get a soul..I know this is all swoon worthy that he did all that for her..he fought for his soul back so she could take him back..and Spuffy fans were all upset that in the ep ‘Beneath You’ I think,at the end,Spike asked Buffy to stay but she didn’t..look, the very last time they met,he tried to rape her people!!…it doesn’t just go away just because he got his soul back…it doesn’t make it ok!..you cannot expect her to just go la-la-la and say 'ok Spike,I’ll stay"..the attempted rape changed everything for them..

However, Buffy being the awesome,forgiving woman that she is who believes that everyone deserves a 2nd chance and that you don’t just give up on someone, opens up to Spike and mend whatever that’s left of them.Now by this time I dare say that Buffy really tried to patch things with him..She starts trusting him and she believes in him..she begins to care about him..by this time, even I felt that hey…maybe Buffy could have more than just feelings for him after all..then End of Days happened and Angel came..and I totally agree with James on this..this episode did show that Buffy was still very much in love with Angel..that even though it was 4 years after they break up,Buffy still sees him in her future..this feeling of building a life with him never left despite breaking up..

Ppl say Angel wasn’t there for all the important milestones but Spike was so Spike knows Buffy better..he knows the woman she’s become..I agree…Spike knows Buffy;the slayer…the fighter..the sister..the friend..the protector…the darkness she has in her..her pain..I attest he knew these parts of her soo well…but Angel knew Buffy the slayer…the fighter..the sister..the friend..the protector…the darkness…her pain and also the girl..he knew her dreams,her heart,her soul,her likes and dislikes,her moods,her thoughts,her insecurities..he knew Buffy Anne Summers…both slayer and just the girl..I think even we forget that although she is the Slayer,defender of human kind against forces of darkness,trusted friend and big sister,Buffy is so much more than that…and Angel has seen and felt soo many parts of her that Spike probably never could..

My take is that at the period Buffy was in,she needed a Spike..That time in her life Spike showed her a part of herself she has yet to dicover..it was like a period she had to go through..similarly with Angel and Riley…she goes through life and at that period in her life it was time for an Angel, a Spike or Riley..

Now, the irony of it all to me,it seems that Angel and Buffy’s relationship was the strongest of all..

1.Their love is unconditional. No matter what they did, their past, their flaws and shorcomings..it doesn’t matter..there is nothing the other do that will ever diminish the love they have for each other..

2.They have respect for each other.While it is so beautiful to see them together, they understand and know that they are their own person..overtime, he understands that there are parts of her life he can’t be a part of..and she knows that he has his own demons that he needs to face on his own..but at the end of the day,both know that if one needs the other,they’ll come running..

3.Sacrifice.They would kill and die for each other..this has been proven soo many times in the show…when one is in danger, they will fight to save the other..even if it means taking their own life or each others’..they know that in the grander scale of things,they are warriors and champions first..

4.True happiness.Buffy is Angel’s and I thought it was just sex that made Angel that way but soon realised that true happiness is soo rare..it is Buffy that made him that way..Buffy and Angel are so open to each other,there were no inhibitions, no walls..in the literal sense, they gave each other everything that night..their heart,body and soul..that night, there was no doubt,no halfway..they gave their all to each other..

5. It was never over between them and it never will be.After years apart,they still see want to build a life together..after its all done and they wanna settle,they see each other..theirs is a forever love..

The list could go on forever but these 5 pretty much says why Bangel rock!!…

In conclusion,everyone will not agree to that one ship..but ship wars…really??…if someone doesn’t like ur ship…it’s fine…they hve their own reason like u have urs..do not condemn someone just because their opinions are different…I’m a Bangel through and through!!…

It doesn’t matter how many times I watch any episode of Buffy and Angel, they never seem to get old or boring. I like them just as much as the first time I saw it.

Faith should have had a lot more screen time. And she should have been in Angel Season 5, and met Illyria, and helped with Dana in damages.

I know Wesley has his moments of being a little annoying, but I feel kind of bad for him. He could never live up to his father’s expectations, Buffy and Faith didn’t listen to him, he fell in love with Fred then he had to watch while she fell in love with Gunn, and then once they’re finally together she dies. He makes a connection with Illyria, but then he dies in the last episode and briefly comes back as a ghost. The guy had a hard life.

I like Xander and Cordelia together..never really got onto the Xander/Anya wagon..I felt Cander had potential..The mean girl and class clown together seemed perfect..and Xander brings out the goodness in Cordy..and Cordy gave Xander confidence..it was such a waste they cut it short..

Buffy Confessions (long post)

I hated when Buffy & Angel broke up..I cried sooo much..it was sooo freaking obvious these two were meant to be..then they made them have relationships with other people..For a long time,seeing Buffy and Angel with anyone else makes my skin crawl.. 14 years since the show ended,I rewatched Buffy again and though it still bothers me,I began to understand..I started to see...the things they went through, the people they dated or liked(heck,there were some Spuffy moments I find cute),decisions they made no matter how questionable they are,whatever stage they're at and it all fell into place because of the cookie dough speech Buffy gave Angel.. Some ppl say that the Buffy/Angel story was long over and they hate that they keep on continuing that ship but here's the thing..It is never over between them and it will never be over..Joss has said that Buffy/Angel love story trancends everything..Sarah always believed that Angel will be the one for Buffy(and the hate she gets is ridiculous),David mirrors her thoughts and credits Buffy for giving Angel purpose and meaning and never understood Cordy/Angel(neither did I),James believes that Buffy is still very much in love with Angel even till the end of season 7,Julie said that although Darla and Angel were together a long time,Buffy will be the one he ends up with..The people who said this ship has sailed since it ended in Season 3..well..Buffy/Angel saga was never meant to end..it will always be a pivotal story in the Buffyverse.. The cookie dough speech made it so clear..At the end of everything,when she's done,when she figures out who she's going to be,when she's settled down,she sees Angel with her.. And to my fellow Bangel shippers(Sarah included!!),don't be disheartened..I know the comics are not in our favor..Buffy is with Spike and Angel with Nina but that's okay...they'll date other ppl,let other ppl have cookie dough,they'll fight the creatures of darkness,stop more apocalypses..doing whatever the hell they nd to do but when Buffy is ready,when she's done,Angel will be right there..waiting..smiling..and this time,it'll be forever..it better be after all Joss put us through!!..

I don’t understand the hate for Dawn. Personally, I love her. She is a feisty badass.
