redid my design for bug au blurr! I wanted to make him feel more streamlined, and also keep more of his tfa silhouette, since it got a little lost in the shuffle before.

redid my design for bug au blurr! I wanted to make him feel more streamlined, and also keep more of his tfa silhouette, since it got a little lost in the shuffle before.
alright! so we've got starscream and skyfire- screamer landed in the arctic when the nemesis went down, and ended up running into skyfire who was working on a research grant studying wildlife. (I do want to draw them meeting still! I have a vision)
Essentially the cons know that tarn was working with someone when he took down the nemesis from inside, and given his less than Stellar track record- the Blame falls on starscream. except.. it wasn't actually him.
we also have blurr and slipstream! (also a wip of a mini-comic with shockwave and sunstorm- all four are a package deal)
when the quintessons attacked cybertron it was without any real warning, the decepticons in this au consist of any survivors who are willing to fight back, with Megatron as their leader.
however, not everyone made it onto the nemisis on time to escape the planet, blur and shockwave being two who where left behind, they've been stuck in shockwaves lab scrounging for resources and trying to figure out a way to fight back. shockwave has been trying to create new soldiers from leftover DNA (starscream's) leaving him with sunstorm (who he considers a failed attempt) and slipstream.
unfortunately while stuck in the lab, blurr starts to realize that shockwave's intentions may not be as altruistic as he claims, as he realizes he and tarn have in fact been working together,
started a little mini comic of bug-blurr and swerve, but you can actively WATCH artblock consume me as I worked on it. what the hell man!???
I will.. attack it again. I really like the concept of swerve just being a normal bartender with zero connections to the government thats supposed to be keeping these guys a secret. and then just. finding blurr after he flees shockwave. dude has NO idea what's going on but this wasp thing is hurt and he's going to help as best he can anyways.
