all art ive done in the bug fables art style so far

a lot of these are just me kidnapping ocs to redraw as bugs…i really am a thief huh..

i also feel like some of these might be too complicated but i dont really gaf i wanna have fun

yes, i will work on more artstyle studies later just let me finish the game first

since im basically at the start of chapter 4, itll take me a bit to finish the whole game, so for now i guess i'll give advice?

for the love of god, PLEASE, look at references

yeah it may take like, one extra minute to find a character with the same/similar species as your own, but trust me it makes everything SO MUCH BETTER.

Keep it simple.

yes, i know you would love to be perfectly detail accurate to the bug youre basing your character on, DONT. the beetles dont even have wings in the game!

colors dont matter as much as you may think.

take kabbu for example, he's a rainbow scarab, but he's GREEN. so just have fun with the colors! of course keep it somewhat accurate, but it doesnt need to be down to the shade.

dont break your back over being accurate

if you cant get something right, just move on! maybe later you'll figure out how to go at it right!
