Finally! At long last!! This unique bug is finally here!!
I like when goofy-lookin' Pokemon are fabulous.
snom?????????????
Snom???
Snom!!!!!!
Snom.
An adorable little moth caterpillar, Snom is one of those pokemon who develop a massive following on a combination of cuteness and memes. It’s not hard to see why – the pudgy cylindrical body concluded with a simple dotted-eye face makes for something incredibly wholesome. It’s also one of a handful of pokemon whose popularity far exceeds that of its fully-evolved form, having a design with much more universal appeal than Frosmoth (though my opinions on that will wait until Frosmoth’s own review).
Snom notably represents our very first Bug/Ice-type, and like many caterpillar pokemon, has a horribly barren movepool until it evolves. Which can take awhile, since it evolves through friendship and doesn’t appear until pretty late in SwSh’s campaign – and you’re stuck with some atrocious stats until then. I don’t particularly care about the mechanical difficulties in using a pokemon, but they’re severe enough in this case to be worth mentioning. Makes for some good flavour, though! Like, thematically. Nobody eat Snom pls.
It’s also one of a select few pokemon with transparent elements to their design, with some sort of icy jelly casing surrounding its body, the spikes of which apparently grow larger as it eats more. Reminds me of a case-bearing clothing moth infestation I’ve been contending with for awhile, they eat fabric and form increasingly large cases of fibers as they do so x(
All that said, my opinions on Snom are much the same as everyone else’s. It’s SUPER cute!!!!!! Maybe even the cutest pokemon ever!!!!!!!! And I love it. But there’s not actually a whole lot else to say about it?
Also not a big fan of the greenish shiny, but green shinies be like that.
The phrase “the floor is larva” also just spontaneously came into my mind, which is kinda relevant.
fuit gummy/10.
Hi there! Okay, so at my parent's house, their lights were constantly flickering, noises in the walls and they were experiencing power surges and outages, etc. They first thought it was some ghost pokemon making mischief but upon further inspection they found that a Galvantula and some Joltik had taken up residence around their power box in the attic. Before being re-homed, one of the Joltik (I named her Joule lol) attached herself to me and we became fast friends. My question is, do you have any tips about introducing her and helping her get along with my Surskit? Thank you for any help you can give me!
I'm glad everyone got rehomed, and congrats on the new friend!
These guys will probably get along pretty well since they're both small bug types. Surskit aren't very territorial, so introducing them should be easy.
If Surskit is getting dry food, then Joltik might try to take a little. As bug types, they have similar tastes. This shouldn't be an issue if Surskit is being fed broth though.
Also, Surskit won't take kindly to getting shocked, so Joule should just be careful when discharging.
Overall, I would expect them to get along great! Thanks for the ask!
