@weaveryivel @stilkin-from-bilewater since you guys are mentioned.
Here bugaboo for you
*waddles away until the very next day*
The Twelfth Architect crouched, their legs bending, and then their upper body leaned down to examine the bugaboo closely. "A... bu-bu-bugaboo, you say?" The Twelfth Architect then took gentle hold of their miniature duplicate, grabbing as if they were something precious and fragile, frail and yet of incalculable value. They gently lifted them up, and set them on their desk. "This is... Fascinating. I thank you dearly for this gift. Is this p-p-p-part of the 'Snow Moon Festival' I have heard about, or is it sep-sep-separate?"
They gazed at the bugaboo. The bugaboo gazed back. "I... Know not what to call you. How about... The Twelfth-And-A-Half Architect? That way, your n-n-n-number-designation does not interrupt the line."
The bugaboo simply nodded.
"... I must study this thoroughly as soon as possible," The Twelfth Architect whispered. "There is much to be lear-lear-learned."
(10/20 asks left in the Young Architect period. The blessing is halfway over)
(OOC: OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH! I never, ever expected to get this from you! I've been following your blog for months, and receiving this gift, it's... I don't think I have words to express my gratitude? Or how I feel right now? Thank you so, so much)
(And now the Twelfth Architect has a miniature Twelfth Architect on their desk that can be interacted with, I guess, hahaha)
You able to make many things. But can you make my mood better? :(
"... I can try?" The Twelfth Architect said. They gently picked up the Twelfth-And-A-Half Architect and presented it to the anonymous bug. "I believe most people find the Twelfth Architect 'c-c-cute.' Does seeing them make you feel better?"
[Reads your flavor text!] [And, amending my previous ask, reading Thirteenth's and Twelfth-and-a-half's too!]
{The Twelfth Architect — The second-latest and arguably greatest in a prestigious line of inventive automatons. Member of the Red Accord, and eternal partner to its visionary and leader}
{With determination to right the ancient wrongs of their ancient ancestors, they tirelessly work to improve Pharloom}
"... How fa-fa-fascinating... and accurate. And lacking in de-de-detail, fortunately; that could have re-revealed very... private-intimate information about myself and my bel-beloved Yivel. I am curious about how this is happening, however?"
{The Twelfth-And-A-Half Architect — The smallest in a prestigious line of inventive automatons. Lonely, neglected, and desperate for companionship and a feeling of nurturing and structure.}
{With intelligence and longing, they build companions and a community in a desperate attempt to receive the attention they aren't getting, to fill the hole in their heart}
The Twelfth-And-A-Half was nearly done with the foundation of their community. They had carved out an area, using runecraft to greatly expand it.
Now it was time to build a miniature Citadel.
{The Thirteenth Architect — The latest in a line of prestigious inventive atuomatons. Bright, cheerful, and musically inclined. Very talented, they've already begun creating things that will change Pharloom forever}
{With an eagerness of youth and the mind of a prodigy, they plan to unite the voices of all of Pharloom}
The Thirteenth Architect's plan was almost ready. Any day now, they could begin using their new inventions across the Kingdom.
... They should really give this a name, shouldn't they?
Hi, Twelfth-And-A-Half Architect!
*bug bows and puts on Architect small weighted blanket with cogs-pattern*
Heere you go, little one
The Twelfth-And-A-Half Architect looked at the blanket curiously, wrapping it around themself.
The blanket felt... nice. Like a hug. And they liked the pattern on it.
"Th-Th-Thank you," The Twelfth-And-A-Half Architect said.
They did like the blanket, but... It made them long to be truly hugged even more.
Pokemon Typing Pharloomblr Trend!
There's a Pokemon typing trend going on in Pharloomblr right now, so I might as well join in, talking about ALL of my blogs!
Histarte (from @thelastescalion) would definitely be Grass type. I can see her being Fighting type or Flying type, as well.
The Twelfth Architect is absolutely Steel type.
The Twelfth-And-A-Half Architect is also Steel type.
The Thirteenth Architect is Steel and Normal type. The Normal type is there because Normal type is often associated with sound (a lot of sound-based moves are Normal type), and the Thirteenth Architect likes music a lot.
Uunvraxis (from @theabyssalshaman)... is actually difficult to place. But I'm going to choose Dark and Fairy type. Dark type because he's Void-infused, and while the Dark type can often represent evil, it can also represent literal darkness. And Fairy type because it represents certain types of magic that (somewhat) align with his abilities, as well as representing mythical and heroic qualities.
Apollodis (from @apollodisthehalfmoth) would be a Psychic and Fairy type Pokemon. Psychic represents mind-based abilities that fit well with his Essence-based abilities, and Fairy also represents magic and heroism, which... He's not heroic, by any means, but he is trying to do good. Fairy is also associated with a lot of "cutesy" Pokemon, which sort of fits with him... I think he's kind of cute. I could also see him being Psychic and Normal type, however!
The Sixth Sentinel (from @rootrobot) is a Steel and Fighting type Pokemon. It's a metallic automaton that was designed to be the best warrior ever, come on! However... I could also potentially see it having the Fire type, given that it has a Flintslate and a Flamethrower now. But that's... Not quite strong enough of a Fire association, especially when Steel + Fighting just fits WAY too well!
The Plasmified root bud (from @rootrobot) would DEFINITELY be a Grass type Pokemon, but it feels like it should get a secondary typing. As such... I think that Poison is possibly a reasonable secondary type because it could represent its Plasmified state. It could also sort of align with the fact it's immune to the mind-altering effects of Plasmium.
Hornet (from @Pluralhornet) would probably be a Fighting + Psychic type. She's a great warrior, yes, but she also uses a lot of magic and tools, and her ability to bind other Crests, learn really easily, her high intelligence, the fact she can see and even ENTER memories using the Needolin and Elegy of the Deep, it's all just... It all just sort of fits under Psychic type REALLY well! However, I can also see arguments for other types.
However, I can also give each Crest its own typing... Which I absolutely will do.
Hunter is Normal + Fighting type. I choose this because it very much seems like... pure Hornet, in a way.
Beast is Fighting + Dragon type. Fighting, obviously, because it's a very combat-focused Crest, and especially a DAMAGE-focused Crest, but Dragon may seem strange! However... I chose Dragon because a lot of Dragon moves are very savage or angry. "Dragon Rage," "Dragon Claw," etcetera. In that way, I think Dragon fits.
Wanderer is Normal type. She's the most basic Crest, and she likes music.
Reaper is Dark + Fighting. The Reaper crest is meant to be a merciless killer. That just fits Dark and Fighting so, so well to me.
Architect is Steel + Fighting type. Steel, because it works with metal a lot and comes partially from the bound Crests of the first 11 Architects, and Fighting, because it's stupidly skilled in Combat. "Random bullshit, go!" can be an insanely skilled and clever combat strategy, especially if the "random bullshit" isn't ACTUALLY random, but instead, carefully chosen.
Witch is Grass + Fighting type. Grass, because it comes from the crest of a Twisted Bud (aka a plant). Fighting, because I think the Witch crest, if used well, can be... really, really strong in combat. That damaging bind is... possibly insane. I don't know for sure yet, though, I need to try out Witch more against actual bosses.
Shaman is Fairy + Fighting type. Very magical and mythical (hence Fairy), but in a way very much focused on combat (hence Fighting). He's also... one of the most GOOD Crests, from a moral standpoint, with how I've characterized him. And the Fairy type represents heroism and good morality. That's why it's effective against the Dark type...
The Queen was... Definitely the HARDEST to place, as far as typing goes. However... I think... That the Queen should be... Dark and Psychic type. I... Can't fully explain why. Dark, because she's... arguably evil, definitely at least morally grey. And Psychic, because I associate that with control (possibly because of mind control?), and she wants to be in charge.
I have l-lost a d-dear f-friend recently, so I am f-feeling quite d-down…
do you have a f-fun m-machination that might perhaps ch-cheer me up?
(@cogworker-of-song)
"... I have a cute one," The Twelfth Architect said, before holding up the Twelfth-And-A-Half Architect, their miniature.
"I can t-try to come up with a fun one, though I have n-n-never done that before so it may take some time."
*The Twelfth-and-a-half Architect has been given a wristwatch to tinker with.*
The Twelfth-And-A-Half Architect held the wristwatch reverently. "... Cogwork... D-D-D-Device," They said. They got some of the tools the Twelfth had constructed for them, and began to carefully open it, inspecting the innards. "Complex... Small... I am small-tiny, too, though." They began putting it back together. "It tells... Time. Useful. V-V-V-Very useful. Thank you, an-an-an-anonymous bug. I think I like it as is. But... Its design is in-in-in-inspiring."
