Happy Pride month everyone. I know this is a fanart blog but this is going to be the new banner for the account so I’m going to go ahead and post it. Big sappy personal stuff under the cut <3
I don’t talk about it a lot but these three labels are the ones I use most of the time to describe myself. Above all I find that I have a lot of love in my life and don’t really care about where that love goes, hence the pansexuality and objectum flags. There’s beauty everywhere and in everyone, and I enjoy finding it at every moment I can.
My relationship with gender has been a long and curving route throughout my life. For many years I was agender, and used they/them only. These days I call myself a gender queer woman, and I’ve been experimenting with any/all pronouns. Gender is an extremely personal but performative thing, and that’s what works for me.
Lots of love to you all, and a happy pride from my gay moms. This year let’s focus on supporting those members of our community who are targeted and attacked. You hit one of us, you hit us all. Do not forget that despite the likes turning rainbow, tumblr has been mass banning our trans sisters for years. This is a time of celebration, but it’s also a time of remembrance and support. Try to talk to a queer elder in your community, check in on your queer neighbors and coworkers and mutuals. Stay strong, stay queer.
