Antqueeny are the Adult Instar leaders of the Anteeny colony. there are multiple Antqueeny in a colony that share leadership duties. Antqueeny are highly patient Buggems that reside in a large den room in the center of the burrows. They spend much of their time monitoring the health of their colony and the rest of their time is spent mediating Anteeny tantrums. Their mature and noble personality leads to healthy and happy colonies. Only Female anteeny metamorhpose into Antqueeny but all Anteeny genders are treated the same until the change. If all Antqueeny leadership positions are filled newly metamorphosed are sent away with a few Anteeny to start a new colony. Antqueeny love their previous form and rule over them fairly however they also feel trapped by their childish subjects. Often exhausted from resolving petty squables they long to be with the other Antqueeny in solitude. They keep the colony healthy and moving forward so their sense of duty outweighs their wish for a lackadaisical life. Caught Antqueeny are loved by more mature owners, they require an equal partnership with their owner. They don't act as pets, they need lots of mental stimulation and they thrive with a quiet tidy environment.

Anteeny

Anteeny are small Buggems that live in colonies under the supervision of their metamorphosed form: Antqueeny. 

 They're highly competent at gathering food and building their complex colony tunnels. Anteeny tunnels are complex crisscrossing structures with larger gathering dens built periodically throughout. In the very center they create a large den for their leaders to meet. When they're not taking  care of their home they are unstoppable foragers. They can follow food smell for miles and through barriers. Although not considered a pest they are known to dig through basement walls in order to get at stored food stuffs. 

Despite their strong work instincts Anteeny are known to have childish personalities.  They're highly dependant on the Antqueeny for any conflict  or hurt feeling often racing through the den halls to be the first to tattle. Since there are many more Anteeny in a colony they easily overwhelm their caretakers.

As a companion anteeny are highly co-dependant and easily frustrated. they require training to be left on their own outside of their pocket enclosure, otherwise they will burrow, throw tantrums, and hoard food. most people who own Anteeny love having a constant companion with a real ability to help with the household.
