what will be the pruning process for deciding which bugs make the cut? number of submissions? number of -unique- submissions? diversity of source material? personal preference? 👀🐞🪲🐛🐝🐜🦗🪳🦟
All of the above will be factored in! About half of the submissions were characters and half were species, so I'm currently deciding if I'm going to mix them together or if I'll be having a species wing and a character wing, with the finals being the winner of each. We'll have to see!
how many submissions have you gotten so far? will you be cutting any of them, or is there room for them all to be included?
There are currently 51 submissions for 48 bugs, and I plan on putting 32 in the bracket.

Mm no, I wouldn't say so. I think that would fall into the same category as "anime girl with antennae" since they just look like regular people with grey skin.

Hell yeah, my dude! Bugs are pals! I'm super proud of you for fighting that fear, it's not easy but it's so worth it
I do not know enough about bugs to submit any candidate but I can't wait to see cool new bugs :3
